Question 1

What services does RideDirect offer?

Accepted Answer

Medical transport, airport transfers, corporate travel and event or group transport. We operate Sydney-wide. Bookings are open to private passengers, NDIS participants, insurance claimants (workers comp / CTP) booked via their case manager, and corporate accounts.

Question 2

How can I make a booking?

Accepted Answer

Three ways. Use the online form at /book-online for an instant quote — open 24/7. Call 02 9052 6042 Mon–Fri 8am–5pm. Or email Admin@ridedirect.com.au with your trip details anytime.

Question 3

Is RideDirect available 24/7?

Accepted Answer

Trips and dispatch run 24/7, including weekends and public holidays. Online booking is open 24/7. Phone is Mon–Fri 8am–5pm — for late-night or early-morning pickups, book online and we will confirm by SMS.

Question 4

Do you offer wheelchair-accessible vehicles?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available Sydney-wide. Flag it on the booking form or mention it on the call, and we dispatch the right vehicle. Lead time is shorter when you book a day or more ahead.

Question 5

Can a carer or family member travel with the patient?

Accepted Answer

Yes. One support person — carer, family member, or support worker — travels with the passenger at no extra cost. Let us know at booking so the seat is allocated.

Question 6

Do you provide transport to medical appointments or hospital discharges?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Door-to-door trips for specialist appointments, dialysis, rehab, day procedures, and hospital discharges are a core service. Drivers wait through short stops without restarting the meter.

Question 7

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Credit and debit cards via Stripe — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Direct bank transfer for corporate accounts. Approved invoicing for NDIS plan-managed accounts and insurance case-managed claims (workers comp, CTP) billed direct to the funder.

Question 8

Do you offer NDIS transport services?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We accept self-managed and plan-managed NDIS bookings. Agency-managed bookings are by arrangement — call the office to confirm. The booking form captures NDIS number, plan-management type, and plan-manager organisation up front.

Question 9

Do you monitor flight arrivals?

Accepted Answer

Yes — when we have the flight number. Add it at booking and we track the live arrival. The driver leaves to meet the actual landing time, not the scheduled one.

Question 10

What if my flight is delayed?

Accepted Answer

No extra charge for the delay. We track the flight, adjust the pickup based on the updated landing time, and the quoted price holds. The driver waits — you do not.

Question 11

Where will the driver meet me at the airport?

Accepted Answer

At a designated pickup point — arrivals hall for international, terminal pickup zone for domestic — with a name board on request. We confirm the exact spot by SMS or email before you land.

Question 12

Can I set up a corporate account with RideDirect?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Corporate accounts get monthly invoicing, cost-centre and PO tagging per trip, recurring booking as a series, priority service, and a named coordinator. Contact Admin@ridedirect.com.au to open one.

Question 13

Do you provide transport for events or group bookings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Conferences, weddings, sports days, after-parties. We size the fleet to the headcount, run the manifest, and assign a coordinator who answers the phone on the night. Quote is fixed and GST inclusive.

Question 14

Are your drivers professionally trained?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Drivers hold a current Working with Children Check where required, and are trained on mobility-aid securement and discharge protocols. Records are re-checked on schedule.
